Giving back to Nature
As an artist and woman who finds inspiration from the natural world, I find it vital to help support the conservation of the animals and ecosystems that make up the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountain region. My goal is to give a portion of the proceeds made though my online sales back to charitable foundations to support the projects and causes that I am passionate about, and to aid in the ongoing efforts to keep Colorado wild.
I also enjoy donating my original art pieces to a variety of benefit auctions, galleries, and exhibits to help raise funds for wildlife, and other endangered species.
A few causes I am proud to have contributed artwork to:
- Ghost Gallery's "Red List: Moth and Butterfly Exhibit 2019 (Seattle WA).
- Rocky Mountain Raptor Program Gala Benefit Auction 2019-2022 (Fort Collins CO).
- "The Ashes to Art Project" 2021 (Fort Collins CO).
Below is a list of other organizations and wildlife rehabilitation centers which I proudly support. A portion of my online sales are donated to at least one of these organizations per month, and I would love if you took a moment to check them out and take advantage of their educational resources.
- Rocky Mountain Raptor Program
- Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
- Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
